Michelin-starred chef’s new restaurant to open at Versace this week

A Michelin-starred Chef is set to open a brand new restaurant on the Gold Coast this Friday.

Chef Manjunath Mural from Singapore has joined forces with Sridhar Penumechu of Saffron Restaurant to create a new destination dining and bar experience at Palazzo Versace called KOKUM by Chef Mural.

The new restaurant will offer a distinctive menu that will take traditional Indian preparation methods and blend them with flavours from Australia, including local seafood, meats, herbs and vegetables, all sourced from providores supplying the best produce in South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales.

The new restaurant exudes a sophisticated yacht feel with warm hues of copper and brass, accents of dark wood and matt black and is set overlooking the Broadwater where guests will be able to gaze over the boats in the marina.

Seating 80 guests dining and up to 120 guests dining and in the bar lounge area, the venue also holds a private dining room for 12-14 guests and a semi private dining room for 14-16 people.
